Topal - male

Topal is 3.5 years old, born 11/07/2015

Topal is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, HW/4DX negative, and microchipped.

Topal is a sweet boy and loves to cuddle, is crate trained, walks well on lead and has been very tolerant but inquisitive of the foster's dog savvy barn cats when he is being walked on lead.  He has not shown aggression towards the cats but then they are too smart to run, however he does let them rub up against his legs and they let him sniff and run his nose over their backs and faces.

Topal gets along great with other female dogs of medium to large size.  He will walk nicely on lead adjacent to a male dog, however he will try to fence fight with another male and/or intimidate another male when he is crated.  Foster home has a very large laid back male who does not engage Topal at the fence and after a few seconds, Topal becomes his laid back playful self and no longer barks at the other male.

Topal likes to run and plan in a securely fenced area.

Topal likes men and women equally but has not been around children.  His foster thinks he would do fine with dog savvy tweens as this boy wants to please and is looking for his forever home.

If you are interested in adding Topal to your family, please go to www.nbrf.org and complete our adoptoin application.  Keep in mind the foster location is in southern Illinois and that NBRF is unable to pay for transport across the USA.  We can assist with locating volunteers to drive several hours one way from her current foster location.

Thank you for considering Topal for your home!
